Exploring AI Insights
Getting Started with Tradapt
What AI Insights Does
Tradapt's AI Insights feature analyzes your complete trade history to surface patterns and behaviors that are invisible in the raw numbers.
It answers questions like:
- "Am I revenge trading after losing days?"
- "Do I underperform in the afternoon compared to the morning?"
- "Which setups are dragging down my overall win rate?"
- "Am I taking too much risk on emotionally charged trades?"
These are the kinds of insights that experienced trading coaches provide — but available in your account, built on your actual data.
How to Generate Insights
Navigate to AI Insights in the sidebar. Click Generate Insights.
The AI will analyze your trade data and produce a set of insights organized by category:
- Behavioral — Patterns in how you behave (revenge trading, FOMO, overtrading)
- Statistical — Patterns in your numbers (setup performance, time-of-day edge)
- Risk — Patterns in how you size and manage risk
Each insight includes a severity rating (Low, Medium, High) and a specific recommendation.
The AI Coach Chat
Below the insights panel, you'll find the AI Coach chat interface. This is a conversational AI that has full context of your trading history.
You can ask it questions like:
- "What are my worst trading mistakes from last month?"
- "Which days of the week am I most profitable?"
- "Am I getting better or worse at holding trades to target?"
- "What should I focus on improving this week?"
The AI Coach responds with analysis grounded in your actual data — not generic trading advice.
AI Message Limits
Using the AI Coach and generating insights counts toward your AI message allowance. Free plans include 8 messages per session and 25 per week. Essential and Pro plans include higher session and weekly limits. Your current usage is shown in the sidebar. All limits reset automatically on a rolling basis.
Start With One Insight
When you first open AI Insights, focus on the highest-priority insight. Read it carefully, understand it, and implement one concrete change. Don't try to fix everything at once — behavioral change in trading is incremental.
Come back the following week and generate new insights to see if your behavior has shifted.
